Ms. Teri Hampton, Principal

We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Teri Hampton as the new principal of Colonial Forge High School—Home of the Eagles! With an incredible track record of leadership, innovation, and student success, Ms. Hampton is ready to soar with Forge into an exciting new chapter. Coming to us from Lake Braddock Secondary School, she brings years of experience as an associate principal, assistant principal, and educator, along with a passion for building strong teams, empowering staff, and supporting every student. Her leadership has led to impressive gains in student achievement and engagement, and she’s known for fostering a culture where excellence and Eagle pride thrive. With her energy, experience, and commitment to the success of all students, Ms. Hampton is ready to lead the way. Get ready, Eagles—the future is bright at the Forge!

Mr. Jeff Berry, Director of Student Activities

 

Mr. Jeff Berry was named the Assistant Principal for Athletics and Activities at Colonial Forge in July 2013. Raised in Stafford County, he graduated from Stafford High School and college from Shepherd University, playing football for the Rams. In 2000, Mr. Berry was named Head Football Coach at Brooke Point High School and taught Physical Education. Mr. Berry earned his Masters Degree in Administration and Supervision in 2010. He is the proud husband to the former Candice Long and adoring father of Calvin, Gracie and Ellie. 

 

Mr. Robert Bingham, Assistant Principal

Mr. Bingham is one of the newest administrators at Colonial Forge, starting in the summer of 2024.  He has previously been an administrator at H. H. Poole Middle School and in Fairfax County.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts from James Madison University in 1993, majoring in history and education. Mr. Bingham began teaching 7th-grade History with Fairfax County Public Schools in 1994. While working in the county, Mr. Bingham earned his Master's in Administration from George Mason University. After ten years in Fairfax, he moved to Stafford County, where he served as an administrator in the middle schools.  Mr. Bingham has been working in education for over 31 years. Mr. Bingham was named Stafford County Public School’s Principal of the Year for the 2018-2019 school year.   He is married to the Principal of Widewater Elementary School and has two children who successfully graduated from Mountain View High School.

Dr. Tina Bryan, Assistant Principal

Colonial Forge High School proudly welcomes Dr. Tina Bryan to the Eagle family as our new Assistant Principal. With over 20 years of experience in education, Dr. Bryan has taught and led in diverse settings across Japan, Memphis, California, and most recently Fairfax County, where she served as an administrator, Special Education teacher, and Swim Team Head Coach at Hayfield Secondary School.

Dr. Bryan holds a Master of Arts in Special Education from The University of Memphis and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Known for her collaborative leadership and focus on student engagement and equity, she is deeply committed to creating a supportive, respectful environment for all students.

“I believe every student deserves to be seen, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential,” Dr. Bryan shares. “I’m honored to join the Colonial Forge community and excited to work alongside our incredible educators, students, and families.”

Ms. Stephanie Degory, Assistant Principal

Mrs. Stephanie Degory earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania,  a Master of Education in Mathematics from Virginia Tech, and a Post Master Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration from The George Washington University. 

Mrs. Degory started her teaching career in Fauquier County in 1996 then moved on to join the Colonial Forge High School mathematics department in the fall of 2002.  She was named the mathematics department chair in 2008.  In the summer of 2021, Mrs. Degory was named Assistant Principal for Colonial Forge High School.  

She feels very fortunate to be part of this excellent school with an amazing staff and wonderful students.  Her own children, whom she takes great pride in, have had the privilege of graduating from Colonial Forge.

Mr. Tim Roberts, Assistant Principal

Mr. Tim Roberts earned his  Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Education degree with an endorsement in Special Education from Mary Washington College. He completed a Certificate of Completion in Educational Leadership from the University of Mary Washington. He has served the Stafford community as an administrator for the past 21 years.

 

 

Ms. Jasmine Blackwell, Dean of Students

Colonial Forge High School is pleased to welcome Ms. Jasmine Blackwell as our new Dean of Students. Ms. Blackwell brings a strong commitment to student success and a passion for building positive relationships within the school community. In her role, she will support student growth, uphold high expectations, and foster a safe and inclusive environment for all Eagles. We are excited to have her join our team and look forward to the impact she will make at Colonial Forge.
